To promote clean transportation, ensure environmental sustainability, and increase energy efficiency and conservation, the state of Haryana came up with its own EV policy. The policy majorly focuses on the manufacturing of electric vehicles and their components in the state, while also emphasizing improving the research and development in this sector as well as reducing upfront costs. This policy places a special emphasis on the creation of an end-to-end ecosystem for E-Mobility in the state and envisages harnessing Haryana‘s inherent strength in the automotive manufacturing sector. The buyers of Hybrid EVs will also get incentives. Hence it is a win-win situation for both buyers and sellers. Also, read Electrifying Your Way Into 2023 – Upcoming Electric Cars in India.

3. This policy is applicable to ?new and ?existing units.
